I'm a mom to five busy boys (yes-five!), ranging from 17 all the way down to one, so life in our house is always full, a little chaotic, and never boring. Most of out time is spent at the rink or arena floor - my boys are big into hockey and lacrosse, and I've grown to love the fast-paced, always-moving lifestyle that comes with it.
When I'm not behind the camera or cheering from the stands, I'm at home with our English Springer Spaniels and Golden Retriever. We run a very small, occasional breeding program, and there's nothing better than having puppies around (even if it adds to the chaos a little!).
Fun Fact-before all of this, I used to travel almost every weekend showing dogs. If you've never been to a dog show, the best way I can describe it is... kind of like a circus. Busy, loud--and a whole lot of fun. And when the weekend is over, pack it up, regroup through the week and head out to a different town the next weekend!
My approach
I believe the best photos aren't forced - they just happen.
My sessions are relaxed, easy and built around real moments. I'll guid you when needed, but I'm not here to overly pose or overcomplicate things. The goal is to let your family be themselves - whether that's kids running, laughing, or not sitting still at all (which is exactly the chaos my family is) and that's completely okay!
My focus is on capturing what's actually in front of me. The little interactions, the in-between moments, the way your life looks right now - not something overly styled or staged.
When it comes to editing, I keep things clean and true to life. I don't rely on heavy filters or trends. I want your photos to reflect real color, real light, and real memories - images that will still feel timeless years from now.
Sessions with me are meant to be simple and stress-free. You don't need perfect outfits or perfectly behaved kids - just show up as you are, and I'll take care of the rest.
